*Although the workshop is divided into three sessions, participants
are expected to attend all sessions.
Purpose of the Workshop
The Women in Jazz Singers' Performance Workshop will provide vocalists
the opportunity to improve their performance techniques through a structured
development approach and through performance coaching. Singers will have
an opportunity to receive personal attention to improve vocal and performance
quality.This workshop is directed towards vocal jazz performance.
Who Should Attend?
Singers who are serious about strengthening their skills as a performer
of primarily jazz vocals. This is not a voice training workshop. It is
for participants who have the voice and the talent, yet desire some performance
skills to prepare for professional live performance. School-age singers
and adults (male and female) are encouraged to attend.
